    Could someone please give me step by step instructions on how to speed up or slow down a clip in virtualdub that won't make the audio and video get out of sync, won't repitch the audio, and leave the framer ate as 29.97 without leaving any framer ate artifacts?

  2. To double the playback speed (1/2 the running time):

    Code:
    Video -> Frame Rate...
      Source Rate Adjustment -> Change frame rate to [59.94]
      Frame Rate Conversion -> Convert To fps [29.97]
    Audio -> Full Processing Mode
    Audio -> Use Advanced Filtering
    Audio -> Filters...
      Add...
        Input, Time Stretch, Output (VirtualDub should automatically connect the filters, if not, connect them yourself)
      double click on the Time Stretch filter.
        Time Ratio [0.5]
