    Hi, first post here.

I imported a few GoPro videos into Movavi and wanted to tweek the sound a bit, so exported the project as a WMV so I could import it into my DAW (Mixcraft) and easily edit the audio. All went fine there and then I exported the edited audio as a Wave file and imported it into Movavi editor and the file was longer than the video and out of sync.

I tried again, exporting the audio from Mixcraft as a MP3 with the same result.

However, I then imported the WMV file back into Movavi and the wave file matched and was synced

Any ideas why this is? Thanks!

Analyzing the original file, the WMV and the WAV file should give the answers. We don't have access to them so it is up to you.

The problem is with Mixcraft ... audio not connected to video stream and being edited separately can lead to distortion in time length mismatch.

In this case you'll need to use another editing tool that can either keep time length match with included edits for remuxing with video source.

Or have a difficult job re-syncing the end product.
