  1. Good evening folks... I am trying to get a bunch of my videos to work on my new android (shield) tablet. I recently got the Avegant Glyph headset, and before my upcoming 32 hour drive + flights, I want to make sure the videos are working.
However 90% of my files dont (mkv) if i convert them to AVI or MP4 (with multiple different viewers) they still dont work.
Any idea how I can get these working?
    thanks

What I would suggest is to use MediaInfo and post a 'text' scan of a working video, and one of a non-working video and some of our members may be able to tell you what the problem is fairly quickly..

Also, if you could post a link to or the preferred video specifications of your Android device showing what formats and configurations are acceptable that would be very helpful.

    And welcome to our forums.

    Hi,
in Handbrake you can check preset on right side Android tablet.
I suggest to you to check frame rate same as source and constant frame rate. I hope it will work.

  5. ive tried VLC, no go there.
the only thing ive found that works, is the suggestion of using handbrake, and using android tablet. im sure its a formatting issue with a video size/audio etc that wasnt supported. this standardizes all of that.
    thank you
