  1. Hi, is this a possible. i have multiple 4GB .mp4 videos from a gopro, they are all the same take but they get spit out into 4GB chunks. i’d like to have all the related clips in a folder, then right click and run a script, or use a droplet, that merges them all together with out re-encoding. i’ve tested the merge option with iffmpeg (a mac gui) and it works great but would like to speed the process up with a droplet, etc if that’s possible. any one know?

    thanks

AppleScript. Whatever merge commands iFFmpeg uses to tell its ffmpeg binary what to do, you can use as well, as Terminal commands. You need to find a way to use unknown file names in variables and get a sense of order from it (part one should go before part 2 -- alphabetic sorting should do in most cases.)
