I have two copies of Doctor Who Season 5 on Blu Ray, yet the first discs in each set are unreadable.

Before I take the new disc back to the store to be replaced, out of curiosity, would anyone know if a program exists that could scan both discs and try to make a single reconstituted copy of the complete disc from what it can recover from both?

Some computer Blu-ray drives are better readers than others. My old LG GGW-H20L is a much better drive for reading damaged discs than my Pioneer 207MBK for example. But you'd just have to get lucky.

You can try running Passkey for Blu-ray in the background, or AnyDVDHD, then use ISOBuster, but I don't know if the free version of ISOBuster would suffice. Probably not.

You're better off replacing the discs and starting fresh.

You shouldn't need a decrypter with BLU RAY
However IsoBuster free might not do BLU RAY
    the trial might
