  1. Does anybody know how to get videos to play on ur dc after converting it to sfd? I used Dreamcast Movie Creator and tried to burn the sfd to a cd along with some other required files, but it still wont play. Can anybody help me with this problem or suggest a new way to watch em on dc? Thanks

  2. You use your boot disc. Load the boot disc. Turn on your DC. Then switch it when it tells you to.

  3. Where can I get (or download) a boot disk?

  4. If you haven't found it yet. Goto dccopyworld.com

It should be on their site somewhere in the downloads. It should be the Utopia boot disc.

  5. You actually don't even need to convert the movie into a sfd file. You can create a VCD and burn it as a data file w/a few modifications and gypplay. This way you don't have to have two copies of the same movie for your DVD player and our DC. Just one copy, but burned differently for the player it's for.

  6. The playback will be choppy if you do it that way. When you convert to the sfd format, you lower the bitrate to approximately 800kb/sec.

  7. You could always encode at a lower bitrate....
