This auto-logout is a reasonable feature to have, but the default timeout is excessively short and the frequent prompts for login have grown annoying to the point that I sought to modify it but cannot see where to.
Is this possible? Can it be simply disabled or set to a high value such as 14 or 30 days (common elsewhere)?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Select Remember Me and you only have to login if you get a new IP. And you must have cookies enabled.
Or does that not work? -
Thanks for your reply.
No, that didn't work, "Remember Me" was checked - but your suggestion I traced it to a cookie issue and whitelisted videohelp.com, which did the trick.
Although clearly videohelp.com doesn't use them maliciously, generally speaking, it's a shame cookies still exist at all. That's another topic though, for an off-topic thread. You can close this one.
