  1. Hi, (long post - sorry)

I have tried to cut a .mpg file and when cut the first chunk plays but all others refuse to play and I get the error:

Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported.

This is in windows media player.

It was working fine and all chunks were playing then the next mpeg I split it stopped. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing all programs I use.

I used DVD cutter Stream and mp3cdwav converter to cut the original file.
I have also used mpeg-corrector to try fix the stuffed files and then when trying to play them get:

No combination of filters could be found to render the stream.

I have also tryed to demultiplex and it doesnt work.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Steve.

  2. try using TMPGEnc to cut the movie, when i cut the first half it cuts fine, when doing the second half it cuts really slow and pauses between steps but in the end it works out fine, or else when converting the movie convert half the movie at a time.

  3. Thanks....TMPGenc has worked, I don't have a clue why the other program started stuffing up, I tried another cutter too which did the same thing.
