But streaming hd with wifi tends to take it to the limit, 'n' was originally developed because 'g' didn't have enough bandwidth to stream a full 1080P signal, but actually 'n' could do just one stream at maximum signal strength. AC was developed to give it more 'punch'.

Oppo has a full 4k machine in development, due out at the end of this year; if you read the specs on the current 10* models, you'd see that they all up-convert hd to 4k and output that if, of course, you have a 4k display attached, and they even take a hdmi hd signal from, like, a hd dvr, loop it through the oppo, up-convert the signal and apply the inner workings, then out to the 4k display. Kind of a swiss army knife for digital video, not just a streaming box.
