I was running MPC-HC 64bit on my laptop. It'a a Lenovo running Windows 7 HP, AMD Phenom II N660 Dual-Core, and 8GB RAM. Whenever I put the HDMI into my tv and try to play a movie I get this wavering black line (like a seam in the video) towards the bottom of the TV. This happens on all TVs, with all HDMI cords, and with all movies regardless of resolution. It doesn't happen with VLC but I have other issues with that program. It usually happens with horizontal scrolling on the movie. I downloaded MPC-HC 34bit and tried madVR but that just made everything choppy. Suggestions?? This is driving me nuts!

  2. Turn on MPCHC's tearing test.

    Code:
View -> Renderer Settings -> Tearing Test
You may need to change the output device, the tearing test is not available with all of them.

    Code:
View -> Options -> Playback -> Output -> DirectShow Video
Is there a tear in the vertical red lines? If so, you need to fix the vertical sync timing. Try different output devices and the alternate vsync options.
