Couldn't post to my old thread for some reason so I am starting a new one.

Really struggling with anydvd. Tough for me to navigate and it's not freeware either so I don't want to purchase if I don't
    "get" it.

Any other easy methods to rip a DVD to a single ISO file on a PC? I can look up the guides but just want recommenations on a good tool. Sorry if I am thick...just tough for me.

Imgburn works only if the DVD is already decrypted

JVRaines means to tell you that AFTER you get AnyDVD running you can use ImgBurn to rip to ISO.

Have you met my Freedonian translator?

No mention of encryption in the OP. But if that's the case, yes, I know of other programs. Unfortunately, their distribution is prohibited in the U.S. by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

What is it exactly that you don't "get" in AnyDVD?

Have to go along with Keyser here. What's there not to get? Start AnyDVD, right click the fox icon at the bottom right of the desktop and you'll get a set of options in a pop up window, including one to Rip to Image...

Really? You're going to just assume that the OP didn't leave that out? OK... good luck with that one. But yes, in the rare case of someone trying to copy an unencrypted disc your response was sufficient. And spare me your half-baked "Ooh. I'm so honest that I can't tell you because of the DMCA" blather.

The OP mentions AnyDVD, so the disc is quite probably encrypted.
Good thing the Freedonian translator is working.
