    source: https://www.videohelp.com/download/LAVFilters-0.63.exe

are there anyone else suffering from LAV 0.63 installation wows under windows xp ?

this is the latest version, btw.

both the LAVAudio.ax and LAVSplitter.ax do install. just the LAVVideo.ax does not.

the RegSvr32.exe fails with exit code 0x3, whatever that means.

i was replacing the last version 0.59.1.0 on my system, that one works fine, but is from 2013.

also, i am unable to load any video files (.ts [hauppause pvr captures] and avi [dv and ut]) into any graphstudio apps. gives the $80040241 error. i assume because of the LAVfilters installation issues.

    Just downloaded from http://files.1f0.de/lavf/nightly/

unpacked with Uniextract (with an up-to-date Inno Setup Unpacker),

then I overwrote the old files with the new ones,

    RE-registered the .ax files,

    and it went all OK.

sorry, but the LAVVideo.ax file still don't load, i get the same error message.

    i d/l "LAVFilters-0.63.0-41.exe" and "LAVFilters-0.63.0-64.exe" files from http://files.1f0.de/lavf/nightly/

and then ran the UniExtract on each of them, got the lavvideo.ax file for each, and then ran RegSvr.exe lavvideo.ax and it won't register for any of them.

    Hmmmmm, that's weird

Perhaps you'll need to UN-register the old version, before registering the newest build

Anyway, I still have no way of knowing whether the actual problem is in the .AX file itself, OR in your XP setup...
