    I have a 4 monitor stand 4 monitors and a 5th stand alone monitor that i want to hook up to my laptop whch has both vga and hdmi outputs.....can i get an external device to hook up to any of my outputs and get 5 different monitors running one time each with a different picture?????

    Please advise.

    You don't say what kind of monitors they are, nor what kind of laptop (and vidcard) it is. This is very important to deciding.

    On a guess though (assuming those are the familiar Composite monitor racks), I would say it is possible, but probably prohibitively too expensive. You'd need multiple adapters/converters.

    Also, what do you mean by "a different picture"? - a different section of a spanned desktop/window? a different independent still/video stream?

    Laptop HP DV7-4169WM, I dont mind the expense of multiple converters adapters and i wasnt each screen to be able to have an independent picture

  4. USB graphics cards (not good of HD video). Or Matrox DualHead2Go, TripleHead2Go.
