Is there a way to take an mp4 file with aac audio, edit the audio volume so certain parts are louder, some are quieter (say I just want to mute a section), without transcoding/re-encoding the video stream? I don't really care if the audio has to be re-encoded.
I'm sure something like Premiere could do this, but are there any free/cheap tools that'll do the job?
