Features/Specifications of Good MPEG2TS Muxer

Hi All,

I am working on MPEG2TS Muxer for H.264 Video,Audio and metadata and it makes .TS file...

I would like to know features of Good MPEG2TS Muxer in terms of
1) Size of Ultimate .TS File
2) Way of Muxing..

So i can improve my present MPEG2TS Muxer..

1) Size? A muxer shouldn't reconvert the video...

You'd better study hard the source-code of ffmpeg and GPAC, for example.

(and no, they don't have a "perfect" freeware TS multiplexer, far from that).

Also, don't forget to study the specifications themselves.

BTW, why support only H.264

By Size I meant any optimized way of muxing (When to enter PAT, PMT Packets)so that size of .TS file could be improved....

What do you mean by Specification ??

H.264 is integrated for my embedded software.......
