  1. Hi All,

I was just wondering what softwares are there that support the NL-Means Denoiser? I only know of Handbrake and VidCoder, does anyone know of any other software that has this denoiser? If no, then are there any other denoisers that produce such high quality?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. avisynth , aviutl

avisynth is more of a framework, but that means dozens of GUI's can use NLMeans (TNLMeans in avisynth) . eg. ripbot, megui, xvid4psp, many , many more. Even ffmpeg GUI's have avs support, so that means 100's of GUI's can access NLMeans indirectly

Yes, there are other denoisers that can produce better quality for video. But it really depends on the specific situation, type of noise etc... Denoising is complex, not a "1 filter fits all" sort of thing if you want best results

The GPU accelerated version of NLMeans is NLMeans CL (need Open CL compatible GFX card) . I don't know if it's implemented in handbrake/vidcoder yet.
