Hello first post!
I'll cut right to it.
I currently own all 3 next gen gaming consoles and I'd rather not use the internal capturing on them. Instead I'd like to record my gameplays and make videos and stream live. Unfortunately my macbook will not support the 2 capture cards I'm interested in so I will be buying a new computer preferably a laptop due to traveling.
I'm interested in these two capture devices
I'm trying to achieve at least 720p 60fps for youtube(once available) if not I can live with 30 and 720p 30fps for streaming. So I was window shopping at best buy and happened on these two laptops that I liked quite a bit ,however I have no clue if they will do the job.
Please let me know if this is possible.
Thank you in advance!

As for the Elgato Game Capture HD60 it is HDMI only which use less for any thing else
You really don't want the Avermedia Extremecap U3 it is Uncompressed HD video and a laptop will not work plus your going to need a boat load of disk space and a raid setup in order the keep up with data steam
It is a safe bet that the XBox One and the PS4 are two of the 3 next generation consoles you own. You could certainly use their HDMI out to record with the Elgato Game Capture HD60 at 720p60. Assuming third console is a Wii U, it can output 720p60 out over HDMI, so you should be able to do what your want using the Elgato Game Capture HD60 with it too. HDCP can be disabled for gaming on the PS4, and the XBox One and Wii U don't used HDCP for games, so that should not be a problem.
