Nope. I'm not thrilled that this software comes from Russia and for security reasons I don't think I'll ever try it. Each person has to make their own decisions about risk and decide what is and is not acceptable to them. I don't condemn those who don't share my concerns.

Having no fear in these things, I downloaded and installed Blu-Studio lite. I pointed to TsMuxeR and ffprobe in the options menu. I imported PSD menu along with video and audio streams.

I cannot however figure out how to compile the Blu-Ray structure. I can't seem to find any guides on it. This is by far the screwiest BD Authoring app I have ever used and that's saying something. Maybe someone who has successfully compiled a Blu-Ray structure with this app can shed some light?

This program is a joint development with DVDLogic (http://bludiscstudio.com/) - they are not Russian.

Did you downloaded a test project?
1. Download http://blu-disc.net/download/Test.rar (5,2 Mb). Unzip to the C:\Test.
2. Download video and audio tracks for simple menu http://blu-disc.net/download/DEMO_menu_Movie.zip (474 Mb). Unzip to the C:\Test\Movie.
3. Open test project in the BDS. If you have properly set ffprobe and tsmuxer, the tsMux button should be available on the toolbar: http://blu-disc.net/tsmux.jpg - press it.

I downloaded the "lite" version and the "test project." The project compiled fine and played fine. However, trying to put a project together on my own appears arduous since it's more like baking a cake from scratch rather than something out of a box. Many "moving parts" and lack of a guide for the uninitiated make it a bit hard to tackle.

I am using (paid) version 2 from some months and, after some initial difficulties to learn how to use, now I am satisfied with this :roll eyes:

It has little documentation but for some silent quick moving videos. I wrote some intro user's guides to it that I'm happy to share to get you starting. It's a bit of a learning curve as you have to set up a lot manually. But this comes with a lot of flexibility - even in the free Lite version. Once you understand that and need more, you can upgrade to their paid versions.
