Hi everyone - Thanks for alle the awesome guides on demuxing, remuxing and reauthoring dvds. They've helped a lot.
Now I've run into a problem though, where I simply can't find the solution - Or what the real problem is.

I've begun on a project of substituting the english track on the NTSC Pokémon Indigo and Orange League DVD's with a danish track taken from danish VHS releases of said series. They were never released on DVD with danish audio.

I've used the guides here and here. And then used the help here and here to make the layer breaks work.
I've succesfully reauthored all 3 discs in the Orange Islands box with no problems except with the layers, which was solved.

Now I've come to a problem with Disc 2 of "Pokémon League" season 1.

I've started out with ripping the dvd with DVD Decrypter in file mode.
Then I opened it in PgcDemux, by PGC, and demux PGC 1, 2 and 3 in seperate folders.
I open the audiofiles from each folder in Audacity, inputting the danish audio, editing it to fit the same length as the original file demuxed by Pgcdemux.
Then i run Muxman selecting the videofiles and chapter files that PgcDemux made, and the audio i made. There is no subtitles on the dvds. Then I've got the three seperate folders to substitute the PGCs. When I run these folders in Media Player Classic, theres no problems. Audiofits perfectly, chapter-skips works fine and all the chapters are where they're supposed to be.

    The problems start with VobBlanker.
I replace the three PGCs with the ones from MuxMan and reauthor the dvd.
The dvd ends up chapters in the wrong places and some episodes completely replaced with some of the others. An example: I'll get two times the theme song, then the first part of one episode, second part of another and then no end theme.
I've even tried muxing with the english sound in MuxMan, and then reauthoring in VobBlanker replacing PGC 1, 2 and 3 with the muxed files, which should be the exact same - But I get the same problems with the chapters as when replacing with danish sound.
This is the log from VobBlanker, when I replaced the PGCs with files with danish sound:

    Version 2.1.3.0. Starting new process:

From this log, it seems that there is to many cells in the vob I'm replacing with.
    It says:
    VTS 01: Replacing PGC 01 by C:\Programmer_til_at_lave_DVDer_med_ny_lyd\Remuxed \Boks1\Disc2\10-12\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.IFO
    Cells to be replaced =9.
    Cells in replacing VOB=13
WARNING: Number of Cells higher in replacing title. Extending last cell
But when I look at PGC 1 in the original dvd, with VobBlanker, i looks like this:

I'm able to see 13 cells, not 9, which VobBlanker says is to be replaced.

Do anyone have any idea what the problem is?
    Thanks in advance.

I wish I could help you, but I can only post to say that some months ago, maybe 6 or 7, I tried to do something very similar to what you are doing and I gave up. I could not solve the same problems you have. I was going to do it as a surprise for a friend and it just ended up being too much trouble. I'm not sure that it would be really important to my friend anyway, so I just gave up and never told my friend I even tried to do this.

  3. I removed the post. Probably bad advice.

If the individual episodes work after being reauthored using Muxman but not after the VobBlanker step, I think I'd create a new DVD from your 3 episodes and the menu backgrounds.

If you see in VobBlanker, there are 4 cells that are re-used (I think it could be the credits), so there are actually only 9 cells. I don't know what is the appropiate way to handle this, but perhaps you could try to ExtractAll cells using VobBlanker from the authored DVD made with MuxMan and then Replacing individually by cell in VobBlanker with the original DVD. This way you would preserve the original structure.

Another way could be to use the Import VTST Titles feature with PgcEdit and import the authored DVDs in the original structure, Then you should correct the navigation to point to this new titles.

    Thanks for the responses!
And I understand you completely jman98. This is very frustrating - But I'm not giving up!
I've tried replacing the VTST 1 in PgcEdit (Though I know you didn't recommend this), but it responds with this:
    ERROR:
There are 4 TTNs in the original VTST
and 1 TTNs in the imported VTST.

The imported domain must have 4 TTNs, or more.
    Sorry.
Creating a new DVD with the original menus and the episodes made by MuxMan - Should I use PgcEdit to make a "New DVD" then?
I've tried choosing "New DVD" in PgcEdit, and importing PGC Commands and Menu Butttons and POVS that I exported from the Original DVD. Nothing really seems to happen when I import them, though. Nothing new in the program shows up.

When trying the option of importing the authored dvds into the original structure with PgcEdit - I've imported the 3 PGCs made in MuxMan into the original DVD with PgcEdit:

I then try to make the menu jump to the newly imported titles instead of the original ones.
Unfortunately it seems to only be able to jump to the "TTN"'s of the original dvd - Not the imported ones VTST 2, 3, and 4.
I can't seem to find another option, where I can make it jump to the newly imported ones? (I would also like to option to point to a specific chapter in one of the newly imported titles in another menu) - And what is the "Domain" referenced in the bottom part of the image?

Hope one of you will be able to help

Yes, that's why I wrote "Import VTST Titles" and not "Replace VTST Titles". In order to use the later one you need to have at least the same number of titles.

The "domain" means the current VTST, where the command it's called. In your case you have 4 VTST and "LinkPGCN PGC 1" means you are jumping to PGC 1 en VTST 1 (in your case, the Root Menu), but you need to jump to titles 5, 6 and 7. You should use command "(JumpTT) Jump to Title X", and you should replace X accordingly, ie, you should replace jumps to title 1 (TTN 1) with 5, title 2 (TTN 2) with 6 and title 3 (TTN 3) with 7. That should make it work.

Finally, make sure to copy pre and post command from the original titles to the new ones, and then blank the original titles with VobBlanker, to regain space.

Just an FYI, this is a method I used a couple of months ago to replicate the original structure, along with a "Play All titles" feature. It' not necesary in your case and it's a lot more work, but just wanted to point it out. In your case, only steps 1 to 6 are required: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=170754

    Thanks again

Unfortunately, I'm unable to use the "JumpTT" option. As you can see in my screenshot in my last post, in the first of the "PgcEdit - Command Editor"-windows I've copied out of the screenshot, the "JumpTT" option has been grayed out. I don't know why.
    Also here:

I'll try and look into the method in your link

    Edit:
Damn, I think I've found the solution!
I'll write again when I'm sure it works

I should've used the method you mentioned in your first post from the start, XIAM10, I just didn't understand it then :b

I open each reauthored PGC, that I made with MuxMan (with 3 episodes each) in VobBlanker and open TTN 1 in VTS_01, so the list of cells come up. I use the ExtAll Multi command, so I get each cell in a seperate file, in 3 new folders, corresponding the 3 PGCS.
Then I open the original DVD in VobBlanker and go into the cell-screen TTN 1, 2 and 3 and replace all the cells that ISN'T reused, with the cells I extracted in VobBlanker. In TTN 1, in my case, it's cells 5, 8, 9 and 12 that I don't replace.

Everything seems to work now. Thanks XIAM10! (And the others :b).
I think the other methods would probably have worked if I weren't so new to this stuff.

Sorry, my bad. There are commands that can't be used in certain places, so they will be grayed out in PgcEdit. In order to use JumpTT you have to make a jump to a PGC in the VMGM and from there you can use JumpTT to go to a title.

One thing I forgot to mention is that you should open the final DVD in PgcEdit and restore the "Type flags" (especially the seamless joint flag) in each modified episode. Apparently, VobBlanker clears those flags when you replace by cell. Just double click the episode and you will see them. Use the original DVD as a reference and leave them the same. Otherwise, the episodes won't be played smoothly and you will notice some stuttering.

Ah, I see. Well, it doesn't matter now - But maybe I'll stumble into other problems with the other dvds, where I have to use that method instead. Up to now, the "replace every cell that isn't reused"-method has worked.

Oh, thanks! There didn't seem to be any problems with stuttering in the first dvd I authored, but I'll be sure to check that from now on!

Thanks for all the help - The rest of the dvds should be no problem from now on. Only time consuming!
