    Dear Sir,

I have some home Movies I downloaded onto my hard drive, what I need to do is use a zoom & pan & scan to zoom in to a small portion of the Movie frame and follow the activity as it moves across the screen and copy only the zoomed in portion and save it to a file.

My question is what would be the best software to use to accomplish this task, am using windows 8.1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You,
    hyades

    Sony Movie Studio.

There's a cheaper edition for $49 (I Think), but you have to search for it on the Sony site. Any of the packages can do what you want.

There's a specific Pan/Crop tool in Vegas that's keyframeable, and very easy to work with. Very smooth.

Win8.1 doesn't matter, what matters is your computer specs.
