  1. i have a large amount of mkv and avi files and some are faulty, is there any software free or paid for which i can get to test all my files for video corruption.

  2. Yep. Best one is a video player. They either play or they don't.
    Define 'corruption'. Pixelation, stuttering, dropped frames... etc, etc, etc?
