    Hello!

I have a client that is playing his wmv/ogg file on one page, and has a FLASH .swf file playing on another page.
He'd like to combine these two into one video. Is this possible?

    Thank you!

Yes, but at least one of them, if not both, will need to be converted.

Give us more information, please. (MediaInfo)

    Hi!

The client doesn't have the source files on hand...at least we're looking for them with not a lot of success...for either the source WMV or .FLA/FLASH file.
The original developer literally passed away, so now we're kind of in a tough spot.

Basically we have his home page which plays is 3 minute YouTube video which is his wmv file...we can get that.
He has a "bio" page with is a FLASH slideshow of himself, that's 2 minutes.

What he'd like to do is take both files, .wmv and .swf, and put these together for a 5 minute video on his home page.

    Thank you...suggestions welcome!

Asx playlist metafile is a possibility (though unlikely).

Can you upload MediaInfo text readouts of those 2 files?

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Any other options...since this has Adware alert on it >> "ADWARE ALERT! The installation contains adware like browser toolbar addons, new start homepage, software suggestions. Full description."

I would try convert both videos to mp4(h264 video and aac audio) with any converter like handbrake, xmedia recode, etc. Use same output video properties for both videos. Join the mp4s with Mymp4boxgui. Then use the mp4 in an flash player or upload to youtube.

Or join and convert in one step with Freemake Video Converter(adware!), open all files and click on join and top right, convert to mp4.

BUT swf flash files might not be that easy to convert to some normal video file. You might have to use a screen recorder like mirillis action or OBS and record when playing the swf.
