Hello everyone, my name is Mark and I am new to the forums. Anyways, I have a few clips that are shot with the Canon T2i and I didn't realize that there was a lens flare on some of them when I was shooting. So as a result I have lens flares on some of them, is there anyway to remove that? I have Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12.
Thanks,
Mark

Unless you are dealing with static shots it is very, very difficult in general. You have to both track the flare and replace it with something convincing. Movie Studio is technically capable, but a lot depends on your image. Please post a sample if you want more specific advice.

Yes, and Vegas Movie Studio can certainly add shake.

I don't really think that I'll bother then, the lens flare is on the subject so it sounds like it would be pretty hard. Thanks for the help though, appreciate the time.

If the flare presents itself as a closed shape and not moving around too much, it may be possible to use AviUtl (mtDeSub plugin) or AviSynth (InpaintFunc) to fill-in that area. (These are actually functions for logo removal)
I don't have MovieStudio so I can't tell if it has analogous functions -
