  1. I currently use MP4 cutter to cut clips from large videos. It's great as it allows my to speed up/slow down the video, but when you save the video, the audio isn't that great IMO. Clip quality is retained, however. Is there any alternative MP4 cutters out there? VirtualDub is great for avi but I'm unsure over how to allow it to accept MP4 files. Ideally, I'd like one that gives you the same functionality re speed up/slow down a video.

  2. VideotoVideo Converter is a lossless cutter and has split and join options (in Tools).
    Machete is another. Both have the ability to scrub through the timeline but they only cut on keyframes. No smart rendering.
