    Hi,

I've done some research through Google inquiring about this problem but nothing has helped. The problem I face is setting the correct aspect ratio for movies I encode through AVStoDVD. Looking through the settings I am given only two options, 16:9 or 4:3. My source material is mostly x.264 video in an MKV container if that helps. I have also looked directly through the options in HC Encoder, but was not able to find any setting to alter. Any help is appreciated.

That's a limitation in the MPEG-2 specification --- the only valid aspect ratios are 2.21:1, 16:9, 4:3 and square pixels ("1:1").

If AVStoDVD doesn't let you choose the square pixels option, you still can use HCenc directly.
