  1. I'm a newbie at ripping Blu-rays. I've just used MakeMKV to do my first full disc backup and I noticed that the resulting BDMV folder includes a folder within it named "MAKEMKV". My question is: What is this folder for? It's not one of the folders that is typically included in the BDMV file structure, and the name of the folder makes me think that it would not have been created had I used a different ripping software.

Is it empty? Maybe just to show that it was ripped with makemkv. You can delete it without any problems.

Please accept my apologies for not replying sooner. I attached an image that shows what's inside the folder. I'm a little wary of opening these files since I don't know what they are.
