I see Boris Red 5, Boris FX 10 and Boris Continuum Complete.

[1] Are these different products or different versions?

[2] Can any one of them be used to render effect alone or do they have to be "plugged in" to Sony Vegas, Premiere Pro, or After Effects?

[3] Having installed them, and desiring to upgrade to a newer version of NLE, do I have to re-install them in order to use them on the newer versions of NLE?

    Thanks

  2. BCC is a plug-n for NLEs. FX, Red and Grafitti all have their own standalone interface. There is a lot of overlap in the available effects.

As for reinstalling BCC, you may have to, you may not. No harm either way. The 32bit versions will not work in 64bit NLEs
