My first time here. I received a video with extension MOV, taken with an electric camera. The creator has held the camera upright and the video is displayed wrong. Can I some how rotate the video 45 degrees to the left? Thanks for your advice.

Search the site for the word "rotate", you'll find dozens of tools and methods.

You probably mean 90 degrees. Quicktime Pro can do it without reencoding.
Window/Show Movie Properties/(click on )Video Track/click rotate buttons -
