daum.net potplayer vs dvbsupport.net potplayer

I am a huge fan of potplayer. Recently the official site i guess daum.net released Potplayer with english language selectable.
I installed it and i encountered following issues:
- First, this potplayer was slow at startup and had relatively high cpu usage.
- Second, some of my avi files played without audio. On checking by pressing tab, i found it to be using Microsoft's DTV decoder for ac3.
I guess it is lacking some codecs.

Is there a workaround to this problem?

Oh i am very very sorry for posting this thread very quick.
When i installed potplayer i didn't have internet connection. After the reinstallation, it now downloads the codecs off internet.
For cpu usage, I replaced evr custom preset with vmr 9 renderless.
