  1. mmm Hi cats, but I cannot find on all the world a encoder that use VFW codec and simply insert the timecode (ISMP data, initial timecode) from my original .mxf file, versus the output .avi mjpeg file.

    I have not burn timecode into the video frame, I've not to render timecode to the video file.

    Simply I would have to get .avi output files that have timecode data for my nle, for the editing.


    Seems virtualdub (incredibly) does not insert timecode to his .avi

    Maybe can avisynt?

    As far as I'm aware AVISynth doesn't give a rat's arse about time-codes. It works by frames, is constant frame rate and starts at frame zero.
