I would like resize from 1920x1080 to 720x576
What is the best procedure in virtualdub to resize?
I wonder: I have to set in "deinterlace" window BFF or TFF? or others?
and in the "interlace" window, even or odd? progressive or interlace?
Seems to me using bff result in major quality but is not clear
thanks

Your source is TFF. The deinterlace filter should be set to TFF. You can easily verify this by watching the output pane after only deinterlacing. With the correct field order frames will appear in order, motion will be normal. With the wrong field order you will get jerky two steps forward, one step back motion as you step through frames.
The reinterlaced can be either TFF (even) or BFF (odd) unless your output codec has limitations (DV for example should always be bff). -
Make sure you are correctly changing your color standard from 709 to 601, also. And you realize that you will end up with an anamorphic image, right?
