Audio pops and clicks with pot player

Hi there,
I have just picked up pot player and really like the look of it, however I get audio clicks in video files I watch.

The clicks (or pops) happen at the same precise time in the videos and they do not occur in VLC or media player.
I have tried a couple of audio rendering streams but all the same result, I'm not sure what stream VLC is using as it just says default.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Same audio codec in all those files?
