I am looking for the best way to compress my blu ray movies onto my plex media server.
I did a test using MakeMKV/XMedia Encode vs Pavtube.
They look strikingly similar. SOmething I am trying to figure out is the filtering. To me the movies look almost like a milky layer has been added to them at .2 percent opacity. They look ok ... but not amazing. The files size 6-9 gig.
Pavtube took 1/4 the time.
Is there a document explaining what all the setting in XMEDIA are ... i mean a good descriptive document with definitions ?
Here are my XMedia settings ...
