    HI!
Full range (0-255) colors option of x264 doesn't work in all FFMPEG-based softwares.
It creates error message. Just try it!

    Thank you for your reply!

Do you mean ffmpeg libx264 encoding ? or x264.exe ? or ffmpeg for decoding streams encoded by x264 ?

ffmpeg libx264 encoding has a few options missing, --input-range and --range are some of them. x264.exe has all options available, use that if you need to encode full range with proper flags from a non flagged source

But is your source full range? and flagged full range? Because if it's flagged full range the full range will be passed through, and flagged properly (ie. "yuvj420p") when encoding with ffmpeg libx264
