    Hello. I want to buy a Sony VX2000 (NTSC) camcoder and not sure what miniDV cassettes should I buy for it. Does miniDV cassettes depend on the format (NTSC or PAL) or not and could I use any of them in NTSC camera. I will use VX2000 only for filming videos.

    No. The cassette is standard so can be used in ANY MiniDV camera.

    Ask the guy you are going to buy it from what kind of cassettes he was using, if he was using different brands I guess it doesn't matter now what cassettes you get, but if he used to stick with one brand only, buy same ones ...
