External Blu-ray drives tend to be fairly expensive. The slim drives don't seem to last very well, so I normally only recommend the full sized externals. But you can see a list of what is available at Amazon here.

I'd stick with one of the major brands, like LG, Pioneer or Asus (though Asus does rebadge drives from other companies).

There is a rebate on the Asus external over at Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135253

    This rebate expires tomorrow.

Might be a bit more $ but OWC carries them: http://eshop.macsales.com/search/bluray+drive
Top-notch company; been buying stuff from them for years.

I purchased an Asus Blu-Ray burner designed to go into a PC case and bought a Firewire external drive case at OWC to complete my backup to Blu-Ray disk solution.

Thinking about getting a little portable reader yesterday I found the following at Server Supply for $40. The Mac specific reviews I found were pretty favorable and it seems to be about 60% less then what it sold for new. I've never had any problems with a refurb unit and have found them as reliable, and sometimes more so, than new.
