  1. I didn't know where else to post this. I don't know if it's called frame dropping, ghosting or something else but this is a paused image of what I'm trying to explain.

Is there any options I can adjust on a player to make it not do this or encode it differently? Thanks

  2. You may have interlaced video that's being deinterlaced with a "blend" filter. Switching to another deinterlace filter will fix that. Or the blend may be happening during editing.

Another possibility is that you are changing frame rates and the editor is producing blended frames in an attempt to smooth out motions.

You'll have to provide a sample of the source and the edited/encoded video for analysis. And list the software you are using.
