  1. I have about 10 movies in MKV format and I'm trying to stream them to my Sony BDP-S5100 Blu-ray player without success. I did some research on the net and it seems that the BDP-S5100 is able to play them only from USB drive. Since many users from these forums sometimes are able to find special third party firmware, I was wondering if somebody here found a solution for that. If not, can somebody recommend me a fast MKV to AVI converter that leaves the audio intact? Thanks in advance.

Maybe try make a mp4/m4v from the mkv using mkv2mp4. No video reconversion.

I tried it and almost worked. It didn't because I don't know which settings I should use to leave the audio intact and I left the converted video with no audio. Can somebody post some settings please?
