I don't have much knowledge of what all this means, but after some google'ing i found out it probably has something to do with it.
So i hope it does, and i hope someone can help me figure it out, and maybe guide me through what to do.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Perhaps because the second is "Format profile : High 10@L5.0" instead of "Format profile : High@L5.0". 10 refers to a 10 bit depth is used instead of 8. Perhaps your manual says something. You need to re-encode the second. You could try Xmedia Recode. It has preseet for Panasonic TV.

Thanks for the answer. I will try this and see if it works.

FLAC audio in the 2nd file is extremely unlikely to be an audio format that a TV media player will support, let alone the fact that this one is multichannel which is even less likely to be supported. It could also be that even if you fix the video issue (I too think that 10 bit is very likely a problem) that this FLAC audio either won't play at all or will cause the entire file to not play.

  5. jman is probably right about FLAC. However, if you re-encode with Xmedia Recode you should get an AC3 audio.

  6. Almost nothing outside a computer can play 10 bit h.264. Also settings like 16 reference frames and 16 bframes are problematic for most devices. Stick with High@L4.1 or lower for compatibility.
