Any AutoGK experts still out there?

The subject came up in a different forum and I've never been able to work out what the difference is.

AutoGK has a colour correction option which uses the colormatrix plugin to correct the colorimetry if need be. However it also has a "fast" and "accurate" colour correction choice in it's hidden settings. Does anyone know what changes according to which you choose? The colormatrix plugin itself doesn't seem to have any such option. Could the colours be converted more accurately using Avisynth an in-built Avisynth function instead of using the colormatrix plugin etc?
