    Hi.

I want to to append a few mp4s together into 1 file.
They are all of the same resolution, codec, framerate, etc so it should be a straightforward muxing process.

However, I couldn't find a tool capable of doing it.
I tried My MP4BOX Gui, it was a good join output yet the audio-s are not joined. They are still separate track.

    Pls help me out here.

    Thanks.

but once you play it, no the picture only shows up nearing the last 20mins of video. Other than that, only blur grey frames.

I think its because mp4joiner muxing using variable framerate.. (from what I look at the mediainfo.)
However the program has no option to edit, just a button to join the files.

You can try avidemux also, open mp4, file->append the rest, under video and audio choose copy, last save as new mp4.

avidemux not working too well with h264, showing a green frames at the very beginning.

btw, the video part from using mymp4boxgui is already good.
Now the audio, if I join them in mkvmerge which will result in mka.
From there, can I extract the aac from the mka file using mkvextractgui?

I tried, but it is giving me "Error: Unrecognized command line option ''.

I need to consult if such extraction (from mka to aac) is possible at all.

    thanks.

I was trying to append 3 mp4s. (all are good when they are on their own)

Using avidemux, it is playing well till the end of the 2nd mp4. From the start of the 3rd mp4 is practically unplayable. (no pic, only grey/green frames).

The same case when done with mkvmergegui.
