Just got a PS3 and installed the PS3 Media Server 1.90.1.
When playing a Bluray movie, it stops, stutters, etc.
No problem with other formats.
Using a hardwired connection and getting 12gbs download.
I can convert the Blurays, but that would shrink it and I am trying to keep best quality.
Or I can burn to disc, but would rather see if there i another solution - settings?

A blu-ray has very high bitrate. Up to around 48Mbit/s.
Do you have fast enough network connection?
Or is the video reconverted/transcoded in ps3 media server? Check the windows task manager perfomance->cpu usage and see if it reaches 100%.

I have 12mbps Dl and Cpu when streaming is about 5%.
How do I transcode to PS3 server?
Do you mean converting to MP4, Avi, etc?
By doing that, I would shrink from 21GB to 2 or 3 and the quality would be significantly reduced.
Well, I transcoded to .AVI and it plays - quality is still good, so I guess that's what I have to do to stream bluray from the PS3.
I guess my bandwidth is not enough to stream bluray.
Thanks for your help.
Do you have 12mbits between your computer and the ps3?
Yes. 12mbps on PS3.
