I am trying to connect my Nexus 10 to my Panasonic TV (model TX-L22X20B) to watch downloaded videos. According to Nexus handbook an HDMI connection will work. I have tried connecting with a HDMI/microHDMI cable but I just get a blank screen on the TV. A friend tried on his Samsung TV and it worked perfectly. Is my TV too old for this technology or is there something I can do to make it work?

nexus 10 seems to have 2 hdmi issues. not all cables work and it doesn't communicate properly with some panasonic tvs. these are common issues on the android boards.

    Baldrick,
I didn't make it clear - it was my Nexus 10 that my friend tried on his TV. I get no response at all on my TV.

    Aedipuss,
My Nexus 10 and HDMI cable worked perfectly on my friend's TV. If there are problems with some Panasonic TVs has anyone found a way to work round the problem?

    regards,

I haven't tried anything else. I know my camera has a micro usb connection but I don't know if it has an HDMI connection. I will check it this evening. I can't think of any other item that has an HDMI connection.

no solution for the panasonic tv problem that i ran across, but most people like "bluerigger" cables for the device.

I found that my camera has a mini HDMI socket so I have bought another cable (miniHDMI to HDMI) to connect to the TV. I can't get this to work either. I have come to the conclusion that it is the TV which is the problem and am resigned to the fact that I am not going to be able to show videos or photographs direct from my Nexus 10 or camera - unless someone can tell me otherwise!
