As you probably know, if you're in the US, you can't stream the Olympics without an active cable or satellite TV account. NBC has it locked up. If you live practically anywhere else in the world, no problem. Only in the good ol' USA.

Well, actually you can...with a VPN.

We're streaming Canadian (CBC) coverage of the Olympics using justfreevpn. Not as easy to set up as, say TunnelBear, but it's free and their site has a setup guide.

It's funny how much more slowly events go without all the background pieces, human-interest stuff, and of course commercials. (The CBC does throw in a few ads every so often. No comparison with the goddam ads on US TV though.)
