    With all kinds of video?

But until you found a solution or it's been fixed can you try vlc instead. Under view change to advanced controls and then just click on the record button.

  5. file recorded with vlc looks like it smoke lsd (all messed up with patch of weird colors everywhere). I finally used ffmpeg.exe -i "video.mp4" -y -ss 00:00:10 -to 00:00:20 -b:v 2000k output.mp4 but it would be faster if it worked with potplayer.

I had the same situation with the A/V gradually drifting out of sync while watching atsc TV with Potplayer. After some fiddling, discovered between reducing the native screen res. down a couple notches and disabling the deinterlacing feature fixed this problem.
