It would help if you quoted the program you are using where you see that.
I would guess that it stands for 'current'
And do you really need that size font in your post ? -
DB83 is correct. When a bitrate is displayed the short term "cur" probably means "current bitrate" being played, and "avg" would mean the average bitrate for the entire video. But we don't know what program is giving you that information or what you're doing with the video other than just playing it.
And, again: don't use huge fonts in forums. It's not necessary, and it's considered to be rude.Last edited by sanlyn; 19th Mar 2014 at 06:37.

thanks a lot, its very clear to me now,,,
and sorry, I'm not familiar with forums roles, so please do not consider that as being rude since I prefer fonts to be shown in a big size. sorry again
I really do appreciate your answers! -
You can always actually read the rules before posting.
But it is equally rude not to actually answer the question(s) that were asked. We are not mind-readers and can only work from the information provided. -
I think feasihome means well.
If you want the location for the link to the forum "Rules" pages, look at the top of the page you're viewing now. At the top left you see the title "Videohelp.com Forum" in big letters. Just beneath the word "Forum" you'll see the link to "Rules".
