  1. Ive never had a problem burning dvds either with the main drive in the computer or my external HP Lite On. Since i upgraded to a new computer and windows 8 last month ive been having nothing but super slow speeds. I know its capable of going fast because a few dvds went quick. 9-10 times it takes 2 hours.. I have no idea what the problem is.. Anyone have any advice?

    OOps. I meant imgburn.

In imgburn can you select different writing speeds? or do you select max.

  6. I read somewhere that it could be my USB plugin so i unplugged it and put it in the back slot. First test went fast.. I'm not getting my hopes up because like i said it has worked before then automatically goes slow. *Fingers Crossed*

The burner requires a USB2 connection for faster burning speeds. The usbplugin/hub probably reduced the speed to USB1.
