I have transfered video files from my Sony AVCHD Camcorder to my computer. Next thing what I'd like to do to join these files by tsMuxer. Every time I'm trying to load a first file to tsMuxer I get the error mentioned in my post title. The same thing with the same video files from my camcorder I did on my friend's computer and I have completed successfully. Why on my computer tsMuxer gives me such an error? I really don't understand this.

  2. Have you tried:
    a. the latest version of tsMuxeR
    b. the last 10.x version or tsMuxeR
also what OS are you running?
Since you didn't post the complete error message: make sure that your path doesn't include any non ascii symbols.

I run the latest version of tsMuxer 2.6.11
    OS Win7 Premium
    Complete error message:
    Error: Can't open stream C:\Users\username\Documents\title\00001.MTS

I don't understand what does ASCII symbol mean?

I'd like to mention that any other video file from my handycam I can load to tsMuxer, just that specific of certain date I made I cannot. I still don't understand it. It pisses me off

  4. I don't understand what does ASCII symbol mean?
simply but non-common symbols likefor example:
    èéøÞǽлљΣæčaィüöäß「日本最後の日Строговы.....
basically anything not shown here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:ASCII_Code_Chart-Quick_ref_card.jpg
will probably cause problems for tsMuxeR.

might also be a problem with the file.
Can you playback that file without problems?

Okay my friend I think you're right about these ASCII symbolsYes, I realize now that the title contains ASCII symbols. I'm going to have a chance to check this in a few hours on my computer.
Thank you so much for your help

In case if I still have some problem to load a file to tsMuxer I would post it back.
