Hi guys,
I have a lot of movies, which are great to watch, but I want to remove some parts that are either overly offending or simply not suitable when family is around.
So my question is, how can I remove/skips parts of a movie without having to re-code (which can take hours!) the whole movie again?
PS: I have access to Adobe CS6 and I'm willing to try other software if it's quick and easy to do.
Thanks!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Solveigmm AVI trimmer for mkv.
avidemux for mkv and mp4. Click on it for some tutorials/guides. -
Thanks very much for the recommendation baldrick. A few more questions :-
1. Will I need to use both or one of them to do the job?
2. Will I need to re-code a movie or is it as simple as slicing parts?
3. How long roughly would it take for a 90min mkv?
Thanks again -
1. You can just try avidemux. But if it fails or is too complex can you try solveigmm avi trimmer.
2. No reencoding. But you can only cut at keyframes and they can be some seconds a part.
3. A few minutes. -
Thanks so much mate. I'll give it a try and get back to you asap.
Cheers buddy
