  1. hello,
    i have a recording with built-in subtitle.

this is how the subtitle looks:

I want this script will do is this:
    * The script will make the background (behind the translation) to black color( so everything except the translation will be in black.)
    * The script will highlight the white color of the translation.

i will use this input for a algorithm that i plan to develop.
the algorithm that i will develop will use this input from that avs script to create a *.srt subtitle formt.

    thanks for helpers!!

    It is logically possible.
    Note that the following data:
    * The color of the translation is white/Nearly white => allows the ability to separate the letters by the color when the background is not in white.
    * the translation is not moves in 100% of cases + the background is moving in most of cases. => Allows the ability to separate the letters by comparison of group of frames.
    * In most cases, the translation is shown for a few seconds. => Increases the chance to succeed to separate the letters from the background.

These points are logically make it possible to perform the impossible.

I give direction and logical way how to do it.

But I'm not talented enough to programming such avs script so i ask here for help
